Centers of Excellence Hall of Fame

The Centers of Excellence continue to produce ground-breaking research and education programs to meet the needs of the homeland security enterprise. The COE’s continue to receive recognition for these significant contributions to the fields of homeland security-related science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

CREATE Center of Excellence wins 2011 Rist Prize

CREATE won the "Rist Prize" at the Military Operations Research Society meeting (MORS), 2011 for the work by Professor Milind Tambe and his students, along with Professor Fernando Ordonez (formerly of ISE) on "Software Assistants for Patrol Planning for LAX, the Federal Air Marshals Service (FAMS) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)".
